Who can I refer?

Any person you know personally. You only need to know their name, along with their email or phone number. You should also know that they have an interest in selling or buying property either now or in the future. Any type of property or business is suitable. From houses and apartments, to commercial warehouses, offices, land and development sites (and businesses). How much will I be paid?

We currently pay the following rates for referrals. Where a fee is quoted over $500, the dollar value is applied to the top gift card value of $500. So if the referral fee is stated as $1000, you’ll get two MYER gift cards (each worth $500).

  • Property between $1m and under $3m in value: $2,000
  • Property of $3m or more in value: $3,000

Commercial Property

  • Property under $1.5m in value: $1,000
  • Property between $1.5m and under $5m in value: $2,500
  • Property of $5m or more in value: $5,000

New Apartments (off-the-plan)

  • Property under $1m in value: $2,000
  • Property between $1m and under $3m in value: $3,000

How do I get paid? 

When your referred seller or buyer completes their transaction and we get paid, we will contact you for your bank details and transfer your fee to your nominated bank account within 48 hours (of the payment being cleared in our bank account). For security reasons, we will never ask you for your bank account details until we know there is a referral fee coming for you.

Terms & Conditions

*Issuing of payments, vouchers, gift cards, rewards or benefits are subject to the following Terms & Conditions. All criteria must be met in full. NOTE: This is not a competition and as such, it is not required to be registered as a competition in any state of Australia. We issue referral fees within 48 hours upon receipt of settlement funds into our account. Terms for a successful referral are outlined below. 

    1. The referrer (you), the property seller or property buyer details have all been correctly registered via this form, with no missing or invalid data. 
    2. For SELLERS – After we follow up with your seller, they must appoint QCR (QLD Commercial & Residential Pty Ltd) to sell their property and correctly signs the required listing form as an exclusive listing, for a minimum period of 3 months. The sale must be settled exclusively settled through QCR and the commission rate on the agreement between QCR and your seller must not be discounted from our standard rate of 3% + GST of the total sale price. 
    3. For BUYERS – The buyer you refer on this form must complete the purchase of the property through QCR. They must purchase the same property you have registered on this form (or another single property in the same development if the purchase is a new project). If your buyer purchases the property with any other party that has the effect of excluding or diluting the commission due to QCR from the sale of this property, no referral fee is payable. You must ensure your buyer knows this and includes QCR as the Selling Agent in all communications until the property settles. 
    4. The property registered on this form must be 100% settled in order for you to be paid the referral fee. That is; QCR must receive the full commission for the transaction and the proceeds have cleared in our bank account. If a referred transaction is not completed, incomplete, re-nogotiated after signing the initial contract, cancelled, terminated. withdrawn or otherwise does not proceed for any reason whatsoever, then the referral fee is null and void and is cancelled in full. You accept this as a key condition of this referral program, before applying.
    5. By submitting this form you agree that QCR is the sole arbiter and authority regarding the administration of this referral program and accept any and all decisions made by QCR at the sole discretion of QCR.
    6. You agree that under no circumstances (including but not limited to any act or omission on the part of QCR) will QCR or any related corporation or their respective directors or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special and/or consequential damages or loss of profits or opportunity whatsoever, which may result from any use or access of, or any inability to use or access, the information contained herein. Whilst all necessary precautions have been taken to minimise any breach of privacy, you agree that we cannot guarantee that this website and any forms herein are tamper proof. You agree therefore that we cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage that may be caused by your engagement with this website. Furthermore, you waive all rights to take action against QCR for any matter pertaining to your use of this website and this referral program. 
    7. GIFT CARDS – You agree that we do not control the gift cards, their value or what they can buy. Expiry date of gift cards is controlled by the issuer and it is your sole responsibility to claim your purchases with the store issuer before the card expires. Gift cards are subject to the terms of the issuer, we merely provide you with it as a free gift. Gift card value cannot be exchanged for cash (unless agreed in writing by the Directors of QCR).
